We are excited to share the call for abstracts for the Association of Academic Global Surgery (AAGS) Assembly Scientific Session featuring Oral Presentations!
We invite you to submit research abstracts to share and discuss your work, and gain feedback from a global audience of experts and peers in the field. The format for the session will be oral presentations (with virtual and in-person options) to maximize accessibility and interaction across our geographically diverse membership.

When submitting your abstract, please provide the following:

Abstract title
-
Presenter, degree/designation, affiliated institution/organization
-
Co-author(s) (if applicable), including degree/designation and affiliated institution. A maximum of 10 co-authors are allowed.

Abstract (Max. 250 words)
-
Research Track (see above) that defines your abstract best
SUBMISSION RULES

A maximum of two abstracts per author are allowed

All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words (title and references not included in word limit).

Only 1 Figure OR 1 Table per abstract is permitted
-
Please ensure your email address is correct as you will be notified via email if your submission has been accepted.

You will be notified of the status of your abstract by September 1st

Note: As part of our commitment to equity we pay close attention to authorship roles and presence of LMIC partners in submitted abstracts.Additionally abstracts in line with the theme of the assembly “Defining Value and Ensuring Equity in Global Surgery Partnerships” will receive a special consideration during the review process.
