In 2021, a collaborative effort by the global surgery work group of the resident and associate society of the American college of surgeons, the international student surgical network (InciSioN), InciSioN’s US national working group, the global surgery student alliance, and operation giving back hosted a global surgery program fair as a virtual event open to all during the clinical congress of the American college of surgeons. This program fair featured 17 residency programs that offered academic global surgery opportunities.
